Two years ago, I could say that I experienced one of the darkest moments of my life. I have been with my job for 10 years and still my employers were able to take me out. Because of what happened, I succumbed to drugs. One of my friends offered it to me and I accepted it and as I use it, I found it so satisfying because I feel elated and I forget the things that hurt me. And as I slowly become a drug addict, my wife decided to separate from me and she even brought our kids with her.

When they left me, I got worse. If it was once a week that I use drugs, I began to use it frequently. I was like that for four months – a useless bum and an addict. And then I finally reached my limitation when I took too much drugs. I didn’t know what happened but I just woke up the two days ago in a hospital. I was lucky because my wife happens to visit the house that day and she found me motionless.

And that is when I realized that I was ruining my life and also my family. I said sorry to my wife and asked her to help me.
